It would be remiss of me to not mention the word research when starting a business venture. The first place you would want to start is Google Trends to see what the demand for healing crystals looks like.
You want to see an upward trending graph. I like to select products that do not have seasonality.

Facebook Insights
Use the Facebook Insights tool to get an idea of your audience demographics and their activities.
The graphic below shows that 90% of all women on Facebook (55%) have an interest in crystals (be mindful that this number might include “fashion crystals” so an in-depth analysis might be required especially before running paid ads.
Facebook insights will also reveal information like the pages they like and their location.
Spy on your competition
Check out marketplaces like Etsy and Amazon to see what your competition is or not doing. Gather all the intel you can get to make your product and customer experience much better.
Just for the comment above you will know that you need vibrant and larger crystals. All this can be communicated in your product description as part of your objection handling.
Read user comments
Now it is time to read user comments from already existing forums and product comments. Join Facebook groups, and online forums like Reddit and start reading comments.
From the comments, you should find common complaints or excitement that you can use on your product page.

Now that you have done your research and collected all the intel, it is time to go to work and start growing your list.
You will need a Gmail account so you can access Google Forms and create a survey.
The goal of this giveaway survey is to grow your launch list. Some of the giveaway ideas include a set of healing crystals, a free session with an energy or chakra healer (if you are an expert or know an expert), a free crystal grid, a guide, etc.

Where to source your crystals
Some of the places you can start looking at sourcing your crystals include suppliers located in the US.
Some of the suppliers in the US include Enter the Earth, Deva Dance, and Carnival US LLC. (I am not affiliated with any of these suppliers)
You can also find suppliers outside of the US using a marketplace like Alibaba which has a lot of crystal suppliers. You must know that you will need to do thorough due diligence when sourcing from China.
When sourcing on Alibaba make sure the supplier has the credentials: verified supplier, gold supplier, and has trade assurance.
You will still need to do more due diligence. I can not insist on it more than enough.
Pre-sale your crystals
Now that people are joining your email list it is time to presale your healing stones.
Create a simple one-product page on Shopify offering a founding member discount to anyone who pre-orders. You must make it clear that it will take a while to deliver.
Why pre-sale? It is the quickest way to validate your market viability without taking on the risk of holding inventory.
Look at the numbers you got from the suppliers including shipping and packaging costs and other overheads to determine your pricing.
Fulfilling orders
As far as fulfilling and packaging your initial orders, go with USPS (make sure to get tracking for each order) and use the small envelopes or boxes.
Make sure to update your tracking information inside Shopify.
